Dr. Rushitum K. Mistry
Dr. Rushitum is senior leading Orthodontist and Dental Implantologist practicing at Dr. Mistry Centre for Advanced Dentistry located at Kemp’s Corner.
He is also a Trustee of the N.R. Nazir Charitable trust doing yeoman service with an emphasis in the field of Cancer. Over the years, he has devoted himself to his Orthodontic practice while simultaneously involving himslef in continuing education. He added Implant Surgery to his repertoire and today, is an Associate Fellow of the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AFAAID)

Education
- Rushitum did his schooling from Cathedral and John Connon School and then joined The Jai Hind College, Mumbai.
- Graduated as a Dentist from the Government Dental College and Hospital, Bombay in 1987, standing First in the subject of Orthodontics.
- Graduated as an Orthodontist from the University Of Pittsburgh, USA, in 1992 where he did his research work in the field of Dento-facial Abnormalities and Cleft Palate.
- He also completed a double graduation in Advanced Orthodontics from The American Institute for Bio-Progressive Education at Scottsdale, Arizona in 1996.
- He did Advanced Surgical Techniques of Sinus Lifting and Bone Grafting from Seoul, Korea in 2007

Work Experience
- Selected on merit to become a Clinical Assistant at the Government Dental College and Hospital, Mumbai.
- Started practice in Mumbai as an Orthodontist in 1992.
- Joined the Rotary Club of Bombay Harbour in 1993. He was selected the first (and was the youngest) President in the new millennium year 2000-2001.
- Joined the D.Y. Patil Dental College and Hospital, in the Department of Orthodontics and taught there from 1993 to 2003.
- Trained in Orthodontic Implant Dentistry.
- He was the Surgical Instructor at the 1st Nobel Biocare World Tour in India, held in Mumbai in 2006.
